EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: For Engineers (Men and Women). The qualified graduates of the Degree Course must possess Engineering Degree at the time of joining training.The candidates studying in the final year of Degree Course, if not already in possession of the Degree Certificate should be able to produce the Engineering Degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at OTA. METHOD OF SELECTION:

1. SHORTLISTING OF APPLICATIONS AND SSB INTERVIEWS: Army Headquarters reserves the right to shorlist applications and to fix cutoff percentage of marks without assigning any reason. Initial checking of applications will be done at Directorate General Recruiting, Army Hqs. Only shorlisted eligible candidates depending on aggregate percentage of marks scored will be called for and assessed under aegis of Selection Centres, namely Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP) and Bangalore (Karnataka) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer. Candidates will not be interviewed locally. Allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of Army Headquarters and no requests of changes are entertained in this regard.
2. TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCEDURE: Two stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test is held at Selection Centres. All the candidates will face stage one test on first day of reporting at Selection Centres. The candidates who qualify in stage one will be admitted to the second stage/remaining tests.Those who fail to pass stage one will be returned on the same date.
3. MERIT LIST: IT IS TO BE NOTED THAT MERE QUALIFYING AT THE SSB INTERVIEW DOES NOT CONFIRM FINAL SELECTION. A MERIT LIST IS PREPARED FOR EVERY QUALIFICATION SUBJECT SEPARATELY PURELY ON THE BASIS OF MARKS OBTAINED BY THE CANDIDATES IN SSB INTERVIEW AND AS SUCH HIGHER EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, PREVIOUS PERFORMANCES, NCC BACKGROUND ETC HAVE NO ROLE TO PLAY. Tips to assist in filling up fields have been provided as you click on each field.(iii) While filling online application it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available as details are to be filled as per matriculation and other educational certificates.(iv) Before clicking the submit button it should be checked whether all details entered in the form are correct as you will not be able to make any corrections after saving the record.(v) After submitting the form and acknowledgement of successful submission generated roll number the buttons of print and save the application will appear. It is advisable to first save the online application and then take a print out.
   (vi) After submitting online application, candidates are required to obtain two copies of the application printout. One copy of print out application duly signed and affixed photogrph attested by Gazzetted Officer thereon and 10th Class certificate, 12th Class certificate, Degree/Provisional Degree and marksheets of eight semesters of B.E/B.Tech, all in orginal alongwith two attested photocopies of all the above certificates are to be carried out to the Selection Centre by the candidate. Orginal will be returned after verification by the Selection Centre. The second copy of the print out of online application is to be retained by the candidate for his reference. The next Common Written Examination (CWE PO/MT-III) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel
for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations listed below will
be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in October 2013.
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations listed at (A) as a Probationary
Officer/ Management Trainee or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Written
Examination (CWE PO/MT-III). Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in the examination, will
subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by IBPS. Depending on the available vacancies in Participating organisations, candidates
shortlisted will be allotted to one of the Participating Organisations keeping in view the spirit of Govt.
Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc.
This system of Common Written Examination, interview and allotment for recruitment of Probationary Officer/
Management Trainee posts in Participating Organisations has the approval of the appropriate authorities. IBPS,
an autonomous body, has received a mandate from the organisations mentioned at (A) below, to conduct the
recruitment process as mentioned above, once a year. Prospective candidates will have to apply to IBPS after
carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examination, interview and allotment, eligibility
criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, pattern of
examination, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfil the stipulated criteria and follow the
prescribed processes

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS(AS ON 01.09.2013):

Graduation from a recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (For Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks). Graduation results should be declared by the University/Institution on or before 01.09.2013. The candidates should produce the Semester/Year wise Mark Sheets, Consolidated Degree Mark Sheet and Provisional Certificate at the time of Interview, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to attend the Interview.

Note: Candidates are advised to only enter percentage of marks (calculated to the nearest two decimals) obtained in the Graduation in the online application form. Where no percentage of mark is awarded by the University, but only CGPA/ OGPA is awarded, candidates are advised to convert the same into percentage and enter only the percentage of marks. The fraction of percentage will be ignored and will NOT be rounded off to the next highest integer i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.

AGE (AS ON 01.09.2013): Minimum Age: 20 Years; Maximum Age: 28 Years. Relaxation in maximum age for SC/ST/OBC/PC/Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Government Guidelines.

SELECTION PROCESS

A. ONLINE EXAMINATION

All the eligible candidates who have submitted their online application properly in time will be administrated an Online Examination which will be Objective in nature.

B. INTERVIEW:

Mere eligibility/ pass in the Online Examination shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in Online Examination, as per the cut-off marks decided by the Bank will be called for the Interview. The Interview will carry 50 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview will be 22.50 marks for General Category and 20.00 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PC Candidates.

Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the Online Examination & Interview and will be strictly according to the merit ranking. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PC will be given relaxation in marks as per extant Government Guidelines. The Bank reserves the right to change the selection procedure, if necessary.

INTERVIEW CENTRES

The interview will be held at major centres across the country and address of the same will be advised in the interview call letters. The Interviews will be held at different centres on different dates as decided by the Bank and will be communicated to the candidates shortlisted for Interview.

COURSE FEE DETAILS

The fees for this Course will be ` 3.30/- lakhs (all inclusive of Boarding, Lodging and course fees, other fees, etc.) plus service taxes, as applicable to be paid by the selected candidates.

STIPEND, EMOLUMENTS & OTHER DETAILS

STIPEND (DURING THE TRAINING):

1. During the Training Period (9 Months) – `2500/- per month
2. During the Internship Period (3 Months) – `10000/- per month

AFTER JOINING THE BANK’S SERVICES AS PROBATIONARY OFFICERS ON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TRAINING:

Pay Scale – 14500 – 600 /7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25700 plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time.

PROBATION PERIOD:

The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years (24 months of active service) from the date of joining the services of the Bank as per the rules of the Bank.

BOND AMOUNT:

Candidates selected for appointment will be required to execute a Financial Service Bond for rendering service for a minimum period of 5 years. The amount of the Financial Service Bond presently is ` 2,00,000/- along with liquidation of the loan amount at commercial rate of interest (if any) and the stipend received during the training period.
